Hello! My name is Hallie McCaskill, and I am pursuing a degree in Advertising and Public Relations at Youngstown State University. I am also studying to get a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership. I am currently the Social Media Manager for The Carousel Center, helping mentally challenged and developmentally / physically disabled clients engage and become more active in their communities. Human rights and the well-being of my clients, as well as others, is a very important part of my life. I am also the president of Enactus YSU, which allows me to incorporate my passion for entrepreneurship and nonprofit work into projects in social enterprise.

Found and created daily content for Fishwithme.net's Facebook page. Engaged with customers and grew their likes to over 25,000.

Fish Bowl

A website concept that I helped design at a Hack-A-Thon in Miami, Florida. The inspiraion for the site was helping consumers FIND and EAT sustainable seafood (hence the name "Fish Bowl" – you can clearly see where your fish came from). I came up with the name "FishBowl" and contributed to the logo creation. I co-created the overall direction and solution to the problem statement with my team. Project Manager

Helping six youth off of the streets of Ghana start their own business to be able to afford to go to college. Throughout this project we will be teaching them about how to run a business so they can continue to thrive after our involvement is done. These youth will be making and selling fly fishing ties.

FISH WITH HEROES

Marketing Manager

A fishing tournament raising money for the following veterans organizations: Take a Vet Fishing, Heroes on the Water, Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc., Fish With a Hero, and The Long Walk Home. I created online and print publications to market the event. I also created the web-page featuring all of our sponsors, and veterans organizations.

ADP Veteran Empowerment Partnership - Veterans Workshops

Marketing Manager

Helped Veterans develop their personal brand by helping them create Linkedin accounts, as well as Facebook and Twitter accounts. We followed 12 veterans through a series of workshops to help them develop their personal brand and transition to civilian life, as well as helping them learn the skills necessary to obtain a job. I created the print publications to advertise the workshops to the community and helped spread them to our target audience.

Walmart Womens Economic Empowerment Partnership - Women's Workshops

Programs helping women in the community connect with support groups like the YWCA, Rockford Chamber of Commerce, and MELD.
Our workshops provided services such as mock interviews and resume building help.
These workshops helped women with making connections that could land them a job, improve their communication skills, get them promoted, or help them find resources that will further their business. I created the print publications to advertise the workshops to the community and helped spread them to our target audience.

High School App Workshops

Team Member

These app workshops taught high school students how to be innovative and come up with brilliant ideas. We taught them the basics of coming up with an app idea, including pain point, target market, monetization, and how to differentiate.This program reached over 800 high school students and promoted college to kids in a community where college was not their number one priority. I assisted in giving the actual presentations and consulting different teams during the workshops.

Marketing Specialist and Vendor

Your nationwide, all-species fishing club helping you find fishing buddies, schedule and join fishing outings, find fishing events, and get out fishing more often. During my time with Fishwithme.net, I created online and print publications and ads to promote our services and our shows at various outdoor expos. I also assisted in getting over 25,000 followers on Facebook. I attended marketing seminars and startup workshops in Chicago, Miami, and the Czech Republic. My time as a vendor had me travel to several states, working over 30 seminars, and personally meeting and registering over 5,000 of our members.
